This Privacy Policy explains how JOAT LIMITED, a company located in Hong Kong, handles information for Aitin, an AI-powered travel planner app for itinerary generation, collaboration, saved trips, shared wallet, and trip organization.

Information we may collect

  • Account data such as email address, display name, sign-in provider identifiers, Firebase Authentication data, Google Sign-In data, and Sign in with Apple data.
  • Trip preferences and itinerary generation inputs, generated itineraries, saved trips, collaboration, invite, voting, and comment data.
  • Shared wallet and expense-splitting data that users choose to enter.
  • App diagnostics, analytics, crash logs if enabled, and device or app metadata needed for operation, security, and reliability.
  • Waitlist information such as email address, locale, source, user agent, and referrer when users join beta updates on the website.

How we use information

  • Provide itinerary generation and trip organization features.
  • Save and sync trips across devices.
  • Enable collaboration, invites, voting, comments, and shared wallet features.
  • Improve app reliability, safety, security, and performance.
  • Communicate beta, TestFlight, Android beta, or app release updates if a user joins the waitlist.

Third-party services

Aitin may use Firebase, Google Cloud, Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, analytics or crash reporting services if enabled, Apple App Store/TestFlight, and Google Play where applicable. Aitin uses Gemini models through Google Cloud Vertex AI to support AI-powered itinerary generation and travel planning. Aitin is operated by JOAT LIMITED and is not a Google product, nor is it endorsed by Google.

Sharing

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We share information only with service providers needed to operate, secure, and improve Aitin.
  • Trip collaboration data may be visible to invited trip members.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while an account or trip exists, or as needed for operation, legal, security, or reliability purposes. Users can request account or data deletion by emailing acc@aitin.app. If account creation is enabled, the app should include an in-app deletion flow before App Store submission.

Children

Aitin is not intentionally directed to children under 13.

International transfers

Information may be processed outside the user’s country by service providers that help operate Aitin.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page.
