Summary

Aitin uses account, trip, preference, media, location, AI prompt, purchase, wallet, receipt scan details you review and save, and app-functionality data to create and save travel plans, sync shared trips, operate wallet and paid features, support users, prevent abuse, and keep the app reliable.

Information we collect

We may collect account identifiers, email, display name, sign-in provider data, provider profile photo, app profile details, language, preferences, trip inputs, generated itineraries, itinerary edits, saved trips, published or shared trip content, invite and collaboration data, comments or votes where available, shared wallet entries, receipt scan details you review and save, photos or media you choose, location choices, reminder choices, AI prompt and context data, purchase status, affiliate link interactions, support messages, device metadata, usage data, diagnostics, crash logs, and website waitlist data such as email, locale, source, user agent, and referrer where applicable.

How we use information

Data is used to sign you in, support guest mode where available, save and reopen trips, generate and improve itineraries, sync shared trips, support collaboration and invite links, translate or speak trip content, personalize language and settings, operate wallet, media, PDF, reel, and paid tools, provide support, process account deletion and privacy requests, prevent abuse, investigate reliability issues, and comply with legal obligations. When you choose receipt scanning, Aitin uses camera or photo library access to capture or select a receipt, and on-device OCR reads receipt text only to prefill a wallet expense draft. You review the draft before saving, and a receipt scan does not automatically save an expense.

Third-party services and sharing

Aitin uses service providers such as Firebase, Google Cloud, Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Google Cloud Vertex AI/Gemini, maps or places services, hosting, app stores, in-app purchase providers, affiliate partners, analytics, and crash reporting. We do not sell personal data. Trip collaboration data may be visible to invited trip members.

Your choices and controls

You can use guest mode, sign out, change language and preference settings, disable optional location use, delete your signed-in account, revoke device permissions, manage Apple or Google account permissions, manage subscription settings through the relevant app store, or contact acc@aitin.app for privacy, access, correction, export, account, deletion, and other data questions.

Device permissions

Camera access is used for receipt scans and travel buddy group photos. Photo library access is used to select photos for receipt scans, trip media, profile photos, and travel buddy group photos. Aitin also asks before using reminders or location where available. You can revoke these permissions in device settings.

Retention and deletion

Users can delete their signed-in account in the app from Settings tab -> Profile settings -> Delete account. Account deletion removes the signed-in account/profile from Aitin, but shared, published, backup, legal, dispute, fraud-prevention, collaboration, storage, purchase, support, and trip records may take longer or require separate handling. For additional privacy, access, correction, export, account, or deletion requests, contact acc@aitin.app.

Children

Aitin is not intentionally directed to children under 13. Child age ranges and travel party details are optional trip-planning inputs, not child accounts.

Purchases and affiliate links

Paid plan purchases are handled through Apple or Google where available. Aitin may receive purchase status information needed to unlock features. Aitin may also earn commission from qualifying bookings through affiliate partners such as travel stays, tickets, tours, or local experiences. Third-party providers handle their own prices, availability, bookings, cancellations, refunds, safety, and policies. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google where available. Prices, taxes, renewal timing, trials, and billing terms are shown by the store before confirmation. Subscriptions renew according to the store terms unless cancelled in time. Manage cancellation, renewal, and refund requests through the app store account used to buy the plan. Aitin unlocks features based on purchase status received from the store.

International processing

Information may be processed outside your country by service providers that help operate, secure, and improve Aitin.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page.
